Graphic Designer

Sr. Graphic Designer leads art asset development for print and digital content. This role will work closely with product development and marketing teams to deliver high-quality content. The Sr. Graphic Designer will have experience creating and managing production files for trade shows and related events, social media, the web, and advertisements both print and digital, along with sales collateral to help with the buying process. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creation and oversight of all design projects, from brainstorming through all facets of the production process of marketing assets, both print and digital.
  • Manage the team workflow with internal customers to ensure due dates are met.
  • Ensure the visual style guide and template requirements meet corporate standards for all marketing assets, including coordinating with global team on use of the design guidelines
  • Coordinate the handling all aspects of exhibit logistics (including ordering of show services, planning, shipping, etc.), outsourced production of graphic materials, ad placements, and other outside services as needed. 
  • Staying up to date with marketing trends and design trends to ensure effective promotions
  • Creating original illustrations and infographics
  • Staying current with graphic design software modifications and capabilities
  • Managing inventory of all graphic assets and exhibit materials
  • Budget tracking for all graphic projects and exhibits

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • BA degree in graphic design or similar work experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience working on graphic design and art production 
  • Diligent and strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to juggle details to meet critical event deadlines
  • solid understanding of the production process for a variety of print and digital projects
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro)
  • Self-motivated, creative, and strategic problem solver and original thinker, with proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player on collaborative marketing projects 
  • Experience in demonstrating versatility and adaptability to creatively solve problems. 
  • A willingness to embrace change and adapt strategies as needed
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail
  • Open-minded and able to accept and incorporate constructive feedback
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Have a strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure a quality final product

 

COMMUNICATION/INTERFACE: 

Interfaces with internal customers to acquire information to design and build assets for marketing programs for the company and works with the global team to ensure design consistency by corporate brand standards.

Accountable for ensuring that products are effectively promoted through the production of high-quality materials within budget and the distribution of them to customers, constituents, and sales personnel on time.
