In June 2023, HORIBA Medical became a corporate member of the International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH), one of the most referenced organizations in the standardization of hematology laboratories.
The ICSH is a UK-registered, not-for-profit, and non-governmental organization that aims to achieve reliable and reproducible results in laboratory analysis in diagnostic hematology.
With this corporate membership, HORIBA Medical will be able to participate in related projects and meetings with other corporate members from world-leading IVD solution providers regarding policy implementation and any changes to suggest hematology laboratories. The membership also allows HORIBA Medical to promote and coordinate new scientific research while staying abreast of the latest solutions for standardization issues in laboratory testing, calibrations, quality control, and regulations being developed by ICSH every day.
Shubham Rastogi, Head of Marketing & Communication at HORIBA Medical commented: “We are thrilled to become a corporate member of ICSH. This partnership marks a significant milestone for HORIBA Medical, as it allows us to actively contribute to the standardization efforts in diagnostic hematology. By participating in projects and meetings alongside other world-leading IVD solution providers, we can collectively shape policy implementation and suggest improvements for hematology laboratories globally. Our membership not only enables us to stay at the forefront of scientific research and advancements but also ensures that we can offer the latest solutions to address standardization challenges in laboratory testing, calibrations, quality control, and regulatory compliance. We believe that our association with ICSH will have a positive impact on laboratories worldwide, ultimately enhancing patient care and outcomes.”
Through its engagement in ICSH, HORIBA Medical will continue to develop to become an even more trusted company in the IVD industry.
