HORIBA, a leading supplier and innovation driver for complex vehicle testing systems, announced a strategic partnership with iSyst Intelligente Systeme GmbH, today. The cooperation with the testing institution based in Nürnberg, which specializes in the functional and quality assurance of embedded systems during the development process, initially aims for an extensive collaboration in the development of modern applications as well as joint research activities. In a second step, the development of additional services with a focus on VIL is planned.
Regarding their core competencies in the automotive sector, HORIBA and iSyst complement each other perfectly and can thus benefit from synergies in the test and development phase. In addition to automation, iSyst's strength lies especially in Hardware in the Loop Testing (HIL). HIL test systems offer developers the opportunity to trial the necessary tests for the qualification of driver assistance systems according to the standards applied in the automotive, aviation and medical industries in advance in real-time scenarios in the laboratory. This is where HORIBA can contribute its experience from a test perspective and its expertise in automotive test systems, in particular emission measuring devices, battery test procedures and brake dust measurements.
"We are very much looking forward to a future-oriented strategic cooperation with iSyst. With a competent partner at our side, we are excellently positioned on both sides of the V-model. We are therefore convinced that this cooperation will create advantages for our customers and enable us to gain decisive competitive advantages", comments André Engelbert, Global Application Manager CAV at HORIBA Europe, on the cooperation with iSyst.
Daniel Heinrich, CEO of iSyst Intelligente Systeme GmbH, is optimistic about the joint project of both cooperation partners: "The experiences, competencies and compatibility of the future-oriented corporate strategies of both companies complement each other perfectly. We are very pleased to be able to lay the foundation for a successful partnership with this cooperation. It is a great beginning of a cooperation that is already very fruitful and characterized by trust".
