For a start, they plan to install four test benches including a system for climate simulation belonging to HORIBA’s proven GIANT series of brake test dynamometers in order to provide comprehensive testing capabilities to meet diverse customer demands. The ultimate aim is to provide independent and objective results for vehicle manufacturers as well as suppliers of friction linings and brakes. Altogether, the new test center offers extensive expertise from which customers with development issues can benefit at any time. The official opening is planned for autumn 2016.
